The Calm before the Exciting Storm!
For those of you who have known us for years, you may be aware that we are a family-based business. I started selling Avon when my son Alex was just 2 months old in November of 2002. Not knowing any better, I remember I had my resume' on the coffee table when the District Manager came over to my house to tell me more about the Avon opportunity. As I grew my business, it was apparent to me that my son was really getting to know the back of my head REAL good as we drove or strolled around canvassing neighborhoods, but I was spending so much time prospecting that I needed to find another way. I began mailing my own brochures, soon after asking my downline if they would like some help, too. A few others on the Avon Yahoo Group boards were asking if anyone knew of anyone that could help them and wa-lah - a business was born before we even knew it! Since that time, our family and business have grown. Our daughter Jessica came along in March 2005 and as for Consultant Depot, I never imagined we would grow to where we are today. The spirit of our business remains the same - to help others save time and money and maintaining and growing their customer base through consistent brochure delivery. We pool together bulk mail orders 5 times for each catalog to help others achieve their dreams. We mail Same Day catalogs every weekday to assist those that have recently added new customers to their customer base or appreciate the timed delivery of First-Class mail.
As you may know - we have been working on a brand new website for a good part of the last year. Some unexpected delays have occurred, but we are confident that by taking the time to build a great new experience the RIGHT way will be worth it in the end for you. We are expecting to launch the new website in February - soon after we get back from our long-awaited FIRST family trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida!!
Although it wasn't planned this way, we are looking at this trip as the calm before the exciting storm that our new website will bring! Our kids are so excited and since we've been going strong since 2003 without a break, we decided to give our staff a little bit of a vacation that week, as well. The following changes will take place the first week of February:

The following changes will take place the first week of February:- The Campaign 5 #4 mailing deadline will be moved from February 2nd to February 5th. (This affects those with an RPS of 9 or 10.)
- The new mailing date for the Campaign 5 #4 mailing will be Monday, 2/8/10 - just two mailing days later than usual.
- The Campaign 5 #3 mailing will still be delivered to the post office on Tuesday, February 2nd.
**If you are a RPS 9 or 10 Avon Representative and want to shift your catalog mailings to be sent out on Tuesday, February 2nd - just let us know! The deadline for that mailing is Friday, January 29th and we can help you with how to make this happen.
First Class Same-Day mailings will change that week in the following ways:
- Saturday, January 30th will be offered - deadline will be early Saturday morning but mailed that same day.
- Monday, February 1st - Thursday, February 4th will be closed.
- Regular Same Day mailings will begin again on Friday, February 5th.
Thank you for your understanding as we take this time to spend quality time with our kids and family members. It's especially meaningful as Adam has been away at his new J-O-B in Seattle all month so we've all missed him dearly and will appreciate our time together that much more! We will eventually be moving to that area sometime later this year - which will be a PLUS for our business as we'll be able to take two steps out of the USPS side of the distribution of how your catalogs arrive to your customers! More on that later - for now, please know that we are thankful for every email, for every phone call, for every interaction we have with each of you. We appreciate every order that you place and every catalog we prepare to help your business grow. We hope that you will LOVE our new website and the features we've been planning!
